CAZES TAX LAW TEAM

I obtained my undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and my law degrees from Oklahoma City University (OCU) and Southern Methodist University (SMU). Upon obtaining my Master of Laws in Taxation (LL.M. Tax) from SMU in 1999, I worked at Phillips McFall McCaffrey McVay & Murrah, P.C. (now Phillips Murrah, P.C.) in their tax and transactional department, where I was mentored by T. Ray Phillips, III, the patriarch and head of the firm’s Tax department. In 2007, I left Phillips Murrah, P.C. for an opportunity to expand upon my skills as an attorney by going to work in the Mergers & Acquisitions Division of Arthur J. Gallagher and Company as a legal and risk management consultant. In 2009, I went back into private practice and formed my own law firm, Cazes, Looby & Jarvis, PLLC. In 2014, I merged my law practice with Resolution Legal Groups and became their primary tax and transactional counsel. In 2017, I saw the need to provide boutique tax and legal services to small businesses and individuals, and as a result, I formed Cazes Tax Law.
While much of my law practice involves tax, estate and wealth planning, and business law, my favorite part of my business is assisting start-up companies to become successful by helping them navigate through various tax, business, and legal risks.
